30 people? There’s 300 million Americans, thousands die annually from murder, heart disease and motor vehicle accidents and you want to whine about 30 people? Statistically, that’s not even enough people to identify a trend yet when compared with the total population of non-straight Americans.
If you actually read the report, a full 1/3 of the offenders were complete strangers, meaning the offender didn’t even know they were harming a gay American. After that, the most likely culprits were co-workers, neighbors and… ex-lovers or close friends. 
More Americans than that died in school shootings last year.
AND, as is the norm, most white victims were harmed by white perpetrators and most “victims of color” were harmed by “perpetrators of color.”
